This policy explains how Show Your Business (ShowYB) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our website or get in touch with us. We are the data controller for the information described here.

Who we are

What information we collect

We collect:

• Information you give us, when you fill in a form or contact us, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, location and anything you write in a message.
• Information collected automatically, such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you view, through cookies and analytics tools (see our cookie policy).

How we use your information, and our lawful basis

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange a Growth Fit Review, on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering an agreement.
• To provide our services if you become a client, on the basis of our contract with you.
• To improve our website and measure our marketing, on the basis of your consent (for non-essential cookies) and our legitimate interests in running our business.
• To meet legal obligations where they apply.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, under appropriate agreements, for example: our website host (SeoHost), our email marketing platform (GetResponse), and Google (Google Analytics 4, delivered through Google Tag Manager). Where we run advertising, our advertising partners (such as Google Ads and Meta) may also process limited data. We may also disclose information where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. As a guide, we keep enquiry and contact details for up to 24 months after your last contact with us. Some records may be kept longer only where the law requires it, for example financial and accounting records. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email contact@showyb.pro.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

International transfers

Some of our providers (for example Google) may process data outside the UK or the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or equivalent legal mechanisms.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
